Opening May 20 at Art on Hulfish, Traces on the Landscape features contemporary artists who depict the natural world through experiences of the body, race, gender, and ethnicity. By drawing upon material histories, employing recording technologies both historical and current, and retracing the paths of earlier generations of photographers, these artists redefine our relationships to the landscapes we inhabit.

Art on Hulfish is made possible by the leadership support of Annette Merle-Smith and Princeton University. Generous support is also provided by William S. Fisher, Class of 1979, and Sakurako Fisher; J.
