Museum Docents
Founded in 1967 to provide educational experiences for the broader Princeton community, the Princeton University Art Museum Docent Association is an integral part of the Museum’s educational initiatives. Docents provide tours for private groups, both adults and children, as well as public highlights tours of the Museum’s collections and Campus Art.
Call for docents: In preparation for the opening of the new Museum on October 31, 2025, we are accepting applications for a new cohort of docents who will be trained to provide highlights tours in the new building on evenings and weekends.
Applications are due April 27, 2025.
For any questions or more information on how to apply, please contact Brice Batchelor Hall at bricebhall@princeton.edu or 609.258.7268.
Museum Docents are required to become a member of the Museum by joining the Friends or Partner Circles membership programs. There are many benefits to being a member, and your commitment to and support of the Museum is essential to your role as a docent. We strive to welcome volunteers from all backgrounds. If joining is a financial concern, a limited number of complimentary memberships are available.
