Department of Art & Archaeology Reunions Lecture: "Dead Birds . . . or, How to Make a Picture Come to Life"

Professor Rachael DeLue shares insights from her current research and teaching on the relationship between art and science in nineteenth-century Europe and North America, focusing on her study of images from the field of ornithology, the scientific study of birds.

Hidden Stories: Preparing a New Art Museum

Alumni and friends are invited to join Museum Director James Steward and Senior Associate Director for Collections and Exhibitions Chris Newth for a lively and insightful accounting of hidden stories about the landmark new Museum as it readies to open in fall 2025. Princeton Innovation Conference: Arts x Technology Conversation

Art Museum Perimeter Tours with Director James Steward

Museum Director James Steward will lead alumni on interpretive tours from the perimeter of the new Museum, giving insider glimpses into the building’s form and function. Tours are limited to 55 participants; first come, first served.
