James Steward: Art and the Politics of Display

James Steward, Director of the Princeton University Art Museum, will speak on “Art and the Politics of Display.” A reception with hors-d’oeuvres will be held from 6 to 7 p.m., Dr. Steward’s presentation will begin at 7:00, and a tour of the hospital's art collection will follow. Barry Rabner, the President and CEO of Princeton HealthCare System, will introduce Dr. Steward.

Steward’s presentation is the second in a series of lectures on art by the Museum’s scholars. This lecture series is one element in the collaboration between the Museum and Princeton HealthCare System on the latter’s Art for Healing initiative – the acquisition of works of art that foster healing.
