Jason Young, associate professor in the Department of History, University at Buffalo, will deliver a keynote lecture entitled "Kongo in Carolina: Art, History, and the Politics of Authenticity," in conjunction with the opening of the exhibition Kongo across the Waters. A reception in the Art Museum will follow.
