Art and Slavery at Princeton
Slavery is a chapter in the history of visual and material culture at Princeton University that often is unacknowledged. This walking tour and interpretive guide underscore the ways in which the institution of slavery is embedded in the portraits, monuments, and buildings that shape Princeton University’s campus and define its history. This tour was created to coincide with the public debut of the Princeton & Slavery Project in the fall of 2017.
